Die argentinische Starcellistin Sol Gabetta und das Orchestre Philharmonique de Radio France verbindet schon lange eine enge künstlerische Partnerschaft. In Hamburg eröffnen sie die Reihe »Faszination Klassik« mit einer musikalischen Hommage an die Heimat des Orchesters.

Aus gesundheitlichen Gründen musste Mikko Franck die Leitung des Konzerts absagen. Dankenswerterweise hat sich Daniel Harding kurzfristig bereit erklärt, das Dirigat zu übernehmen. Anstelle von Mélanie Bonis’ »Trois femmes de légende« wird nun Claude Debussys »Prélude à l‘après-midi d’un faune« erklingen. Der Rest des Programms bleibt unverändert und Tickets behalten ihre Gültigkeit.

Argentine star cellist Sol Gabetta and the Orchestre Philharmonique de Radio France have been close musical partners for a long time. In Hamburg they open the series »Faszination Klassik« with a tribute to the orchestra’s homeland.

For health reasons, Mikko Franck had to cancel the conducting of the concert. Thankfully, Daniel Harding agreed to take over the conducting at short notice. Instead of Mélanie Bonis’ »Trois femmes de légende«, Claude Debussy’s »Prélude à l’après-midi d’un faune« will be performed. The rest of the programme remains unchanged and tickets remain valid.
