One day Peter goes into the garden in front of the house without his grandfather's permission. He witnesses how the bird, the cat and the duck are threatened by the suddenly appearing wolf. The duck ends up in the wolf's belly, so Peter decides to use his animal friends to catch the wolf.
"Peter and the Wolf" is a story about the victory over a seemingly insurmountable superiority through cleverness and solidarity of the weak.
The classic of all children's concerts by Sergej Prokofiev also shows how people and situations can be characterized and represented with musical means.

Eines Tages geht Peter ohne die Erlaubnis des Großvaters in den vorm Haus gelegenen Garten. Er wird Zeuge, wie der Vogel, die Katze und die Ente vom plötzlich erscheinenden Wolf bedroht werden. Die Ente landet im Bauch des Wolfs, weshalb Peter beschließt, den Wolf mittels seiner tierischen Freunde zu fangen.
,,Peter und der Wolf" ist eine Geschichte vom Sieg über eine scheinbar unüberwindliche Übermacht durch Klugheit und Solidarität der Schwachen.
Der Klassiker aller Kinderkonzerte von Sergej Prokofjew zeigt ganz nebenbei auch, wie man Personen und Situationen mit musikalischen Mitteln charakterisieren und darstellen kann.
