Producers: Lithuanian National Opera and Ballet Theater, Operamania TikTok opera "Planeta Deluxe" is the first premiere of the modern opera project "Opera Genome" by the Lithuanian National Opera and Ballet Theater and production company "Operomania". Fragments of the libretto were inspired by the content of TikTok: the song "Everything That I Need I Already Have" (by Paula Wilhite), the song "Money Mantra" (by King Soon). Also referenced: Cynthia Nixon's speech "Be a Lady They Said" and the song "Nails, Hair, Hips, Heels" (from Todrick Hall's repertoire). The songs "Ekranai" and "Therapia" by the duet "Liudmila" were used in the piece. Ilmė Vyšniauskaitė's video report "Planeta Deluxe" is a modern opera, the plot of which is based on the content of the online application "TikTok". The work examines aspects of power and influence in modern means of communication, consumerism, and the influence of opinion makers on the general public. "Planeta Deluxe" is a planet of the perfect, where everyone strives for supposed perfection, representing their life only in the most beautiful colors. A work about the efforts and desire of a modern young person to discover a connection with the world and himself with the help of digital technologies. TikTok Opera is a collage work, a synthesis of electronic and popular music, consisting of short fragments that composer Jūra Elena Šedytė combined into a unified whole. In this way, the principle of functioning of the "TikTok" app is understood: fast-changing, catchy plots and music, intense pace, catchy tunes, variety of genres. Popular pieces of music created by different authors or "loaned" to the opera are like segments of a common picture made up of many authentic strokes. The opera Planeta Deluxe features a gallery of five characters - five TikTok user accounts - who are also the alter egos of the creators of this opera. Director and author of the libretto, Greta Štiormer: "The action of the opera is based on the incessant flow of fast-remembering images and flawless images experienced by modern man, often becoming his own self-created social media character. five characters, five alter egos of the creators of the opera - these people who exist in the digital life of Planet Deluxe meet live on the stage of the opera". The image is created by combining animated, 3D aesthetics of computer games and live footage into rapidly changing compositions. Bringing these images from the phone screens to the opera hall provides a space to step back, to "get out" of the flow of social networks for a moment and look at it through the eyes of someone else, perhaps watching us.

„Planeta Deluxe“ – tai šiuolaikinė opera, kurios siužetas grįstas internetinės programėlės „TikTok“ turiniu. Kūrinys nagrinėja galios ir įtakos šiuolaikinėse komunikacijos priemonėse aspektus, vartotojiškumą, nuomonių formuotojų poveikį plačiajai visuomenei. „Planeta Deluxe“ – tai nepriekaištingųjų planeta, kurioje visi siekia menamos tobulybės, reprezentuoja savo gyvenimą tik pačiomis gražiausiomis spalvomis. Kūrinys apie šiuolaikinio jauno žmogaus pastangas ir troškimą, pasitelkus skaitmenines technologijas, atrasti ryšį su pasauliu ir savimi pačiu.

Kūrinio libreto fragmentus inspiravo TikTok turinys: daina „Everything That I Need I Already Have“ (aut. Paula Wilhite), daina „Money Mantra“ (aut. King Soon). Taip pat remtasi: Cynthia‘os Nixon kalba „Be a Lady They Said“ ir daina „Nails, Hair, Hips, Heels“ (iš Todricko Hallo repertuaro).

TikTok opera – tai koliažinis darbas, elektroninės ir populiariosios muzikos sintezė, sudaryta iš trumpų fragmentų, kuriuos kompozitorė Jūra Elena Šedytė sujungė į vieningą visumą. Tokiu būdu įprasminamas „TikTok“ programėlės funkcionavimo principas: greitai besikeičiantys, pagaulūs siužetai ir muzika, intensyvus tempas, įsimenančios melodijos, žanrų įvairovė. Skirtingų autorių sukurti arba operai „paskolinti“ jau anksčiau skambėję populiarūs muzikos kūriniai yra tarsi bendro, bet iš daugybės autentiškų potėpių sudaryto paveikslo segmentai.

Operos video inspiracijos kilo iš „TikTok“ platformoje dominuojančių vizualinių kodų, komunikavimo manierų, elgesio madų. Vaizdas kuriamas animuotą, kompiuterinių žaidimų 3D estetiką ir gyvai nufilmuotą vaizdą jungiant į greitai kintančias kompozicijas. Iškėlus šiuos vaizdinius iš telefonų ekranų į operos salę suteikiama erdvės atsitraukti, trumpam „išlipti“ iš socialinių tinklų srauto ir į jį pažvelgti kito, galbūt mus stebinčiojo akimis.

Socialiniai tinklai ir sąveikos alternatyvioje realybėje persikelia į sceną per eksperimentinę vaizdo, muzikos ir judesio sintezę. Kaip sąlyčio taškų paieškos, keičiančios suvokimą apie bendravimą, taip ir ši opera siekia pristatyti herojus supančią virtualybę.
