A lecturer, who doesn't actually know much about her subject, gives a talk on snails, and in the course of her observations on the strange habits of these amazing gastropods, ends up falling in love... with a snail? Only history will tell...

In this poetic and musical entertainment, director Sarah Le Picard and illustrator Chloé Perarnau imagine a world at snail's eye level, in which the garden becomes an immense forest of magic and mystery. A garden populated by music, where the elves of Mendelssohn's A Midsummer Night's Dream, the dancing legs of Roussel's Festin de l’araignée and the fairy tales of Ravel's Ma mère l'Oye come together, as well as the less expected Prokofiev, Mahler and Rossini. All in all, it's a garden where we move from one discovery to the next, all the while having fun chasing a snail that might have a chance of outrunning you...
