The Seimas of the Republic of Lithuania declared 2020 as the year of the history of Vilnius Gaon and Lithuanian Jews. Responding to this theme, M. Rubackytė presents at the festival the work of the legendary pianist, composer and pedagogue L. Godowski (1870–1938), who is called the "undiscovered pearl of Lithuania". Godowski's creative legacy consists mainly of works for the piano, among them the monumental five-part piano sonata - M. Rubackytė will present it in its original form on a new CD (French company "Ligia Digital"), and in the recital program, together with fragments of this sonata, she will combine the famous Fryderyk Chopin's Sonata No. 2 ("Marche funébre").

2020-ieji LR Seimo paskelbti Vilniaus Gaono ir Lietuvos žydų istorijos metais. Atliepdama šią tematiką, M. Rubackytė festivalyje pristato „neatrastu Lietuvos perlu“ vadinamo legendinio pianisto, kompozitoriaus ir pedagogo L. Godowskio (1870–1938) kūrybą. Kūrybiniame Godowskio palikime daugiausia kūrinių fortepijonui, tarp jų ir monumentali penkių dalių fortepijoninė sonata – ją originaliai M. Rubackytė pristatys naujame CD (prancūzų firma „Ligia Digital“), o rečitalio programoje kartu su šios sonatos fragmentais derins ir įžymiąją Fryderyko Chopino Sonatą Nr. 2 („Marche funébre“).
