The Salzburg Mozarteum Orchestra, led by one of the leading violin virtuosos of our time, Arabella Steinbacher, and one of the world's best classical music ensembles, experienced conductor Matthew Halls, will meet at the 51st Istanbul Music Festival. The German violinist, who is known for his rich vibrato, perfect intonation and extraordinary performance, which is praised by the critics, is again the guest of the festival after 8 years with this concert. Music lovers await an unforgettable evening dedicated entirely to Mozart.

Steinbacher, who has countless works in his wide repertoire, has recorded many successful albums, including Mozart's concertos. Their albums have won two ECHO Klassik Awards, two German Recording Critics' Awards and Le Monde de la Musique magazine's Les Chocs du Mois Award. His recording of Mozart compositions with the Festival Strings Lucerne Orchestra was praised all over the world. Steinbacher, who opened the 2022/23 season with the Salzburg Mozarteum Orchestra in Switzerland, then went on a tour with the famous chamber orchestra of the same ensemble.

The Salzburg Mozarteum Orchestra, which will accompany the German virtuoso at the 51st Istanbul Music Festival, has achieved worldwide success over the years, especially by interpreting the great Viennese classics; In 2016, it became the second orchestra to receive the Gold Mozart Medal after the Vienna Philharmonic Orchestra. The orchestra, which dates back to 1841, was founded with the support of Mozart's widow and sons; It is considered one of the most valuable musical heritages in Austria, representing the city and region of Salzburg. The famous orchestra regularly performs at the Salzburg Festival, the Mozartwoche Festival, the Salzburg Cultural Association and the Salzburg State Theater throughout the season and works with well-known guest conductors and soloists.

Mozart fans should definitely not miss the concert where Steinbacher, who is known for his mastery in interpreting Mozart's works, and the orchestra of the city where the Austrian genius composer was born and grew up, will meet.

Günümüzün önde gelen keman virtüözlerinden Arabella Steinbacher ve dünyanın en iyi klasik müzik topluluklarından, tecrübeli şef Matthew Halls’ın yönetimindeki Salzburg Mozarteum Orkestrası, 51. İstanbul Müzik Festivali’nde buluşuyor. Eleştirmenlerin övgüsünü alan zengin vibratosu, kusursuz entonasyonu ve olağanüstü icrasıyla bilinen Alman keman sanatçısı, bu konserle birlikte 8 yıl aradan sonra yeniden festivale konuk oluyor. Müzikseverleri, tamamen Mozart’a adanan unutulmayacak bir akşam bekliyor.

Geniş repertuvarında sayısız eser yer alan Steinbacher, bugüne kadar aralarında Mozart’ın konçertolarının da olduğu birçok başarılı albüm kaydetti. Albümleri, iki ECHO Klassik Ödülü, iki Alman Kayıt Eleştirmenleri Ödülü ve Le Monde de la Musique dergisinin Les Chocs du Mois Ödülü’nü kazandı. İstanbul Müzik Festivali’nde Alman virtüöze eşlik edecek Salzburg Mozarteum Orkestrası, özellikle büyük Viyana klasiklerini yorumlayarak yıllar içinde dünya çapında başarılar elde etti; 2016’da, Viyana Filarmoni Orkestrası’ndan sonra Altın Mozart Madalyası’nı alan ikinci orkestra oldu. Kökleri 1841’e uzanan, Mozart’ın dul eşi ve oğullarının desteğiyle kurulan orkestra; Avusturya’nın, Salzburg şehri ve bölgesini temsil eden en değerli müzik miraslarından biri sayılıyor. Ünlü orkestra, düzenli olarak Salzburg Festivali, Mozartwoche Festivali, Salzburg Kültür Derneği ve Salzburg Devlet Tiyatrosu’nda sezon boyunca konserler veriyor ve tanınmış konuk şeflerle, solistlerle çalışıyor.

Mozart’ın eserlerini yorumlamaktaki ustalığıyla bilinen Steinbacher ile Avusturyalı dâhi bestecinin doğup büyüdüğü şehrin orkestrasının buluşacağı konseri Mozart hayranları kesinlikle kaçırmamalı.
