In his opera "Seven Stones", the cosmopolitan Adámek makes the soundscapes of Iceland, Argentina and Japan rousing. The journey takes shape from intimate, chamber music-like passages of singing, speaking, sometimes whispering voices to the monumental sounds of self-built installation objects. He completely dispenses with the use of an orchestra and leaves the stage to the sound of the singers and abstract constructions. After the world premiere at the “Festival d'Aix-en-Provence”, this is the first revival and German premiere of the work.
