The »Bad Kissinger LiederWerkstatt« has been celebrating the art song genre since 2006 – with both the most beautiful works from the past and new contributions by living composers. With songs and duets by Bartók, Dvořák, Kodály, Liszt, Schubert, Schumann, Smetana and Wolf, among others, as well as contemporary sound creators, the 2022 year will also refer to the Central European motto of the festival year with two different programs on July 2nd and 3rd . Under the artistic direction of Axel Bauni, a top-class vocal quartet around the soprano Sarah Aristidou and his accompanists show the subtle correspondences between voice and piano, literature and music, word and sound, which make the song one of the most intimate and ambiguous art forms.

Unfortunately, Esther Valentin-Vieguth and Mikhail Timoshenko had to cancel their participation in the LiderWerkstatt due to illness. We are pleased that mezzo-soprano Christina Daletska agreed to perform the world premiere at short notice.

Die genaue Konzert-Zuordnung der Werke erfolgt kurzfristig.
	Seit 2006 feiert die »Bad Kissinger LiederWerkstatt« die Gattung des Kunstlieds – sowohl mit den schönsten Werken aus der Vergangenheit als auch mit neuen Beiträgen lebender Komponisten. Mit Liedern und Duetten unter anderem  von Bartók, Dvořák, Kodály, Liszt, Schubert, Schumann, Smetana und Wolf sowie zeitgenössischen Tonschöpfern nimmt der Jahrgang 2022 mit zwei unterschiedlichen Programmen am 2. und 3. Juli auch Bezug zum Mitteleuropa-Motto des Festival-Jahrgangs. Unter der künstlerischen Leitung von Axel Bauni zeigt ein hochkarätiges Vokal-Quartett um die Sopranistin Sarah Aristidou mit seinen Begleitern die subtilen Korrespondenzen zwischen Stimme und Klavier, Literatur und Musik, Wort und Ton, die das Lied zu einer der intimsten und vieldeutigsten Kunstformen machen.

Bedauerlicherweise mussten Esther Valentin-Vieguth und Mikhail Timoshenko ihre Teilnahme an der LiderWerkstatt krankheitsbedingt absagen. Es freut uns, dass sich Mezzosopranistin Christina Daletska kurzfristig bereit erklärt hat, die Uraufführung vorzutragen.
