To celebrate Beethoven, Insula orchestra thinks big. In order to give full measure to this monument of the history of music that is the Ninth Symphony , Laurence Equilbey calls on leading soloists and doubles the wind instruments, as in the time of Ludwig van Beethoven. 40 singers and 80 musicians celebrate this ode to fraternity, of which the “Ode to Joy” is the thrilling finale.

Pour célébrer Beethoven, Insula orchestra voit les choses en grand. Afin de donner la pleine mesure à ce monument de l’histoire de la musique qu’est la Neuvième Symphonie, Laurence Equilbey fait appel à des solistes de premier plan et double les instruments à vent, comme au temps de Ludwig van Beethoven. 40 chanteurs et 80 musiciens célèbrent cette ode à la fraternité dont l’« Hymne à la joie » constitue le final enthousiasmant.
