SOG favourite Elaine McKrill sings the temptress Venus, award-winning young soprano Samantha Crawford is the pure-hearted Elisabeth, and star tenor Peter Auty (Tannhäuser) is the knight torn between them. With the superb Richard Wiegold as Wolfram, and acclaimed Wagner expert Michael Thorne conducting, it’s set to be another coup for SOG.
