The Last Five Years Brown,JR

Woman meets man and man meets woman, they fall in love, marry and separate after five years. The up-and-coming writer Jamie and the not-so-successful actress Cathérine humorously go through all the facets of a love story and the disappearance of love. The fact that they no longer get together can also
be seen from the fact that they experience the story in opposite directions in time. Jamie looks ahead, tells her story since they first met, Cathérine looks back on life together since the breakup. Tony Award winner Jason Robert Brown wrote this musical, which premiered in Chicago in 2001 and was successfully filmed in 2014.

Frau trifft Mann und Mann trifft Frau, sie verlieben sich ineinander, heiraten und trennen sich nach fünf Jahren. Der aufstrebende Schriftsteller Jamie und die nicht ganz so erfolgreiche Schauspielerin Cathérine durchlaufen humorvoll alle Facetten, die eine Liebesgeschichte und auch das Verschwinden der Liebe bereithalten. Beide erleben die Geschichte in einer zeitlichen Gegenläufigkeit. Jamie blickt nach vorne, erzählt ihre Geschichte seit ihrer ersten Begegnung, Cathérine schaut seit der Trennung auf das gemeinsame Leben zurück. Tony Award Preisträger Jason Robert Brown schrieb dieses 2001 in Chicago uraufgeführte Musical, welches 2014 erfolgreich verfilmt wurde.

Beatrice Reece ist u. a. bekannt aus "Saturday Night Fever". Jetzt übernimmt sie die Rolle der Cathy in The Last Five Years.
