Let's imagine an ensemble of elite musicians from around the world: from Australia to Peru and from Japan to the United States, with proven abilities both as soloists and in musical interaction. These musicians are driven by a common desire to serve their art with uncompromising dedication and vision, as members not just of an ordinary orchestra but of a living artistic community, making music but also more broadly spiritual preparation on the works they (co)decide each time to interpret. And they have as their conductor, first among equals, Theodoros Kourentzis, an artist who for years now has been shaking up the waters of the international music scene with ground-breaking, innovative, extremely passionate approaches but also cerebrally planned down to the last detail, approaches that cause reactions of enthusiasm, if not paroxysm, in whatever part of the planet they are implemented. All of this sounds ideal, if not a figment of the imagination; yet, as of 2022 it is a reality called Utopia. This ideal musical reality will present the music-loving Athenian audience with a performance of Bruckner's Ninth Symphony , which promises to be an experience of a lifetime for its listeners.
