A name that bodes well, the one chosen by the young Trio Chagall to pay homage to the famous painter, admired, among other things, for his links with music and the expressive power in the use of colour. Defined as " a very young but already very mature trio in the search for refined interpretative solutions ", with an average age of only twenty years it was the youngest chamber ensemble to establish itself in the history of the "Trieste Trio Prize".

Un nome che lascia ben sperare, quello scelto dal giovane Trio Chagall per omaggiare il celebre pittore, ammirato, tra l’altro, per i suoi legami con la musica e la forza espressiva nell’uso del colore. Definito “un trio giovanissimo ma già molto maturo nella ricerca di soluzioni interpretative raffinate”, con soli vent’anni di età media è risultato il più giovane ensemble da camera ad affermarsi nella storia del “Premio Trio di Trieste”.
