The WINTER OPERA of the OH! reaches a new dimension: The performance of TRISTAN UND ISOLDE marks a milestone in the history of the festival during the year. In a version shortened to 90 minutes, only the scenes with the protagonists, i.e. with Tristan and / or Isolde, can be heard. The famous prelude and other orchestral passages will also be heard.

After the break from this opulent WINTER OPERA evening, it continues with several film music titles that take up a central theme from Wagner's "plot": FORBIDDEN LOVE! In the moderated second part you will hear music from "Titanic", "Death in Venice", "Forbidden Love" and "The Curse of the Caribbean"

Die WINTEROPER der OH! erreicht eine neue Dimension: Die Aufführung von TRISTAN UND ISOLDE markiert einen Meilenstein in der Geschichte der Festspiele unterm Jahr. In einer auf 90 Minuten verkürzten Fassung erklingen nur die Szenen mit den Protagonisten, also mit Tristan und/oder Isolde. Das berühmte Vorspiel und weitere Orchesterpassagen werden ebenfalls erklingen.

Nach der Pause dieses opulenten WINTEROPER-Abends geht es weiter mit mehreren Filmmusik-Titeln, die ein Leitthema von Wagners "Handlung" aufnehmen: VERBOTENE LIEBE! Im moderierten zweiten Teil werden Sie Musik hören u.a. aus "Titanic", "Der Tod in Venedig", "Verbotene Liebe" und "Der Fluch der Karibik".
