En 2020, Yom enregistre Celebration : un album dont les compositions prolongent sa recherche d’une musique contemplative et sacrée, épurée au-delà ou en-deçà de l’harmonie, de la mélodie ou du rythme. Très rapidement, Celebration devient le nom du duo que, dans ce disque singulier, il forme avec le pianiste Léo Jassef. Leur complicité se déploie sur scène dans un voyage spirituel ininterrompu, loin de la construction propre à l’enregistrement phonographique. Avec le public (et non face au public), la dimension mystique de ce travail au long cours se révèle immanquablement, fracassante et lumineuse. Près de trois ans après sa naissance, le duo continue de creuser ce sillon avec un répertoire inédit, toujours en quête d’une vibration qui, le temps d’un soir, nous conduit vers les territoires de la transe et de la méditation.

In 2020, Yom recorded Celebration : an album whose compositions extend his search for contemplative and sacred music, refined beyond or below harmony, melody or rhythm. Very quickly, Celebrationbecomes the name of the duo that, in this singular disc, he forms with the pianist Léo Jassef. Their complicity unfolds on stage in an uninterrupted spiritual journey, far from the construction specific to the phonographic recording. With the public (and not in front of the public), the mystical dimension of this long-term work inevitably reveals itself, shattering and luminous. Nearly three years after its birth, the duo continues to dig this furrow with a new repertoire, always in search of a vibration which, for one evening, leads us to the territories of trance and meditation.
