Innsbruck, Austria"With verve, elegance and splendid colorfulness", "an unprecedented triumph", "it should always sound like this", "a veritable treasure" - Gerrit Priessnitz earns unanimous praise for his interpretations of contemporary music as well as for his appearances with classical-romantic repertoire. Born in Bonn, Gerrit Priessnitz is Chief Conductor Designate of the Tyrolean State Theatre Innsbruck (TLT) and Professor for opera at the Graz Arts University (KUG). He is a sought-after guest on the podium of various international orchestras and opera houses.
