Prague, Czech RepublicJaroslav Patočka, a native of the Czech Republic (Liberec), had a close relationship with music from an early age, when he attended the then Folk Art School (cello, piano) and was a member of the Severáček choir. He studied at the Pardubice Conservatory with professors Václav Zítek and Milan Stříteský. From the beginning of his singing career, he was led by the long-time soloist of the National Theater in Prague, Václav Zítek. He took part in many master classes, among others with the Italian opera tenor and pedagogue Antonio Carangelo. In 2006, he made his debut in the role of Banco (G. Verdi-Macbeth) at the F. X.
