Juyoung Ma

Juyoung Ma is a coloratura soprano from South Korea. She performed the role of Barbarina in Mozart's opera Le nozze di Figaro in 2022, and the roles of Lauretta and Suor Genovieffa in Puccini's opera Il triticco in 2023 with the SAS Performing Arts Company. She made her debut as Despina in Mozart's Così fan tutte with Music On Site, as Pamina in Mozart's Die Zauberflöte with Chicago Summer Opera, and as Adina in Donizetti's L'elisir d'amore with Arte Opera in 2020. She was the featured soloist in 'Gather: Islands in the Sea' at the Lincoln Center for the Performing Arts. At the Mannes School of Music, she sang the roles of Oscar in a scene from Verdi's Un ballo in maschera and Giove in Diana from Cavalli's La Calisto.
