Biografia
Nicola Proksch was awarded the First Prize in the category Opera (female) at the Antonín Dvořák International Competition in Karlový Vary, Czech Republic. In 2011 she was a finalist in the Klaudia Taev Competition. For Amina in La Sonnambula she was rewarded the prize of “Discovery of the Season” 2014 in Slovakia. Her debut in 2008 she had as Gilda in Verdi’s Rigoletto on a tour through Japan. During the 2008/2009 season she was a member of the Opera Studio at the Komische Oper Berlin, where she sang among others Barbarina in Mozart’s Le Nozze di Figaro and Chloe in Tchaikovsky’s Pique Dame. In the role of Queen of the Night in Mozart’s Die Zauberflöte which she is currently singing at Staatsoper Unter den Linden, she also appeared in Theater Bremen, Theater Erfurt, Staatstheater Schwer
