Under the name La Banda gathered a group of renowned musicians, who had already played frequently together in the past in different circumstances. The repertoire of the orchestra covers Passions, Oratorios and numerous Cantatas of J.S. Bach, as well as the big choral works of Monteverdi, George Frideric Handel, Haydn and W.A. Mozart.

In 1995 the orchestra followed an invitation to the "culture capital at that time of Europe" Luxembourg and their performance of Die Schöpfung by J. Haydn in concert at the festival there, was received with big applause. A much-appreciated concert of Karmelitenvesper by G.F. Handel in November 1996 with the Fürther Kirchenmusiktagen was broadcast by the Bavarian Radio, as well as the performance of G.F. Handel's oratorio Israel in Egypt in November 2001 at St. Sebastian in Munich.

La Banda has participated in over 100 concerts and broadcast recordings all over Germany and abroad. The conspicuous characteristic of La Banda is its alive and expression-strong music-making, the intensive contact of the musicians among themselves and the joy in the playing, which lets the spark transformed to the public.

La co[opéra]tive is a collective that brings together six cultural structures committed to bring opera to life and spread throughout the country, in addition to the work of the major opera institutions.

The national stages of Besançon, Dunkirk, Quimper, as well as the Imperial Theater – Opéra de Compiègne, the Opéra de Rennes, and the Atelier Lyrique de Tourcoing thus pool their strengths and know-how in an original decision-making process. shared.

At the annual rate of one production per year co-produced in equal parts, the co[operators] undertake to create and widely distribute shows seeking the highest artistic standards, both for theater and for music, in suitable formats. networks of multidisciplinary scenes as well as opera houses, in France and abroad.

Together, within the co[opera]tive, they seize works from the repertoire and initiate the creation of new works, and develop mediation tools to share them with all audiences.

The co[oper]tive also plays a role of laboratory, in particular for the young generation of singers and singers, for directors and stage directors who often, alongside us, participate in their first lyrical production, and for ensembles musical and vocal specialists who take part in its productions.

The co[oper]tive benefits from a subsidy from the Ministry of Culture, and is supported according to its projects by the CNM, SACD, SACEM, ADAMI and SPEDIDAM.

With a poetic that combines classicism and the experimental, Salazar has directed more than twenty works of different genres. Since 2007 he runs his own production company, La Compañía Estable, in Bogotá, in association with some of the main theaters in the city. His main productions include: Macbeth, premiered at Teatro Colón on behalf of the Ministry of Culture, Tosca, at Teatro Mayor, as well as Othello, The Shape of Things, Stones in His Pockets, The Pillowman, The Ugly and Life is a dream.

He is the director of the Performing Arts area in the Faculty of Arts and Humanities of the Universidad de Los Andes. Graduated in Theater Arts from Brown University (1996) and in Physical Theater from the Jacques Lecoq International Theater School (1999), he has specialized in theater directing with an MFA from Columbia University.

For 2022 he is preparing the staging of Peter Grimes at the Amazonas Theater in Manaus, The marriage of Figaro, for the Teatro Mayor Julio Mario Santo Domingo and 53 Domingos, by Cesc Gay, for the National Theater.

La Fura dels Baus is a company in a permanent process of transformation that, since it was founded in 1979, has approached new challenges in the field of the performing arts. It would be no exaggeration to say that since Accions (1983) La Fura dels Baus can be considered as a cult group for its thousands of followers all over the world. La Fura has developed its own language, style and aesthetics over the years based on collective creation. 

Since the 1990s the company has worked in the fields of written drama, digital theatre, opera, major events (macro shows) and films. It still continues relentlessly evolving, experimenting and searching for new ground.
