作为第25/26届北京国际音乐节上演的第二部科幻题材歌剧，《七日》与同为科幻题材的《月亮的世界》遥相呼应，从登陆月球到人工智能，歌剧舞台展现对未来的思考与探索中，音乐扩展着人类的想象力边际。科幻题材室内乐歌剧《七日》是作曲家郝维亚“中国新歌剧”系列的第二部，试图探讨未来的彼时，当以人工智能为代表的高科技全面超越我们，甚至替代我们的时候，我们是谁？我们的价值和生命意义是什么？关于这个有些科技伦理的答案，此时细思极恐。全剧讲述在未来的某个时刻，艺术家司徒睿陷入创作的僵局无法自拔的同时面临身体死亡的危机。女科学家郦尧为了拯救他，利用人工智能技术全面“更新”了司徒睿。得到消息前来看望司徒睿的恋人楚荞，无法面对，甚至怀疑眼前这个容貌一样，崭新的司徒睿是否还记得，懂得他们之间的爱情。作曲家郝维亚全剧征引了一些文学与音乐的经典和音乐史上著名的“氛围”,将理查·施特劳斯的《死与净化》、德彪西的《牧神午后》等经典作品的旋律融入科幻题材，丰富展现了科幻与艺术的对焦。

As the second sci-fi opera in the program lineup of the 25th/26th Beijing Music Festival, AI’s Variation provides powerful resonance when paired with Haydn’s Il mondo della luna: from landing on the moon to Artificial Intelligence, the BMF opera stage presents the audience with inspirations and questions about the future when music continues to extend the horizon of human imagination.The second in Hao Weiya’s “New Chinese Opera” series, AI’s Variation projects into the future when Artificial Intelligence not only overtakes humans, but also replaces them. Who are we then? What constitutes human value? What about the meaning of life? The answers to these questions concerning science and morals are already alarming. The opera depicts a moment in the distant future when artist Situ Rui suffers from a mental block while facing death. Scientist Li Yao, in an effort to save Situ, utilizes AI to a create a “synthetic human.” Chu Qiao, Situ’s lover, rushes over to see him. She is devastated, doubting if the new Situ Rui, who still looks like the man she knew, still remembers or understands their love. Composer Hao Weiya references such literary and musical classics as Richard Strauss’s Death and Transfiguration and Debussy’s Afternoon of a Faun, enriching our focus on the intricate relations between sci-fi and art.
