THE MESSIANIC CREED
With Éclairs sur l'Au-Delà… (1987-1992) and Et Exspecto resurrectionem mortuorum (1964), the deeply religious Messiaen paves an impressive path to the afterlife. For this he calls on an impressive ensemble of more than forty musicians, with only wind instruments and percussionists. Slowly but inexorably, he propels his music forward to finally leave finiteness behind. Those who do not only want to hear and see music, but also want to feel its thrills should not miss this closing concert! If the afterlife ever becomes tangible, it's here!

A solid battalion of wind players and percussionists from I SOLISTI storms the gates of heaven. A must for believers and unbelievers alike.

HET CREDO VAN MESSIAEN
Met Éclairs sur l’Au-Delà… (1987-1992) en Et Exspecto resurrectionem mortuorum (1964) baant de diepgelovige Messiaen zich een imposante weg naar het hiernamaals. Daarvoor doet hij een beroep op een indrukwekkend ensemble van meer dan veertig musici, met uitsluitend blazers en slagwerkers. Traag maar onverbiddelijk stuwt hij zijn muziek voort om ten slotte de eindigheid achter zich te laten. Wie muziek niet alleen wil horen en zien, maar ook haar zinderingen wil voelen mag dit slotconcert niet missen! Als het hiernamaals ooit tastbaar wordt, is het wel hier!

Een stevig bataljon blazers en slagwerkers van I SOLISTI bestormt de hemelpoorten. Een must voor gelovigen én ongelovigen.
