Хоровой спектакль «Чёрное. Шаги босиком» вырос из концерта Камерного хора театра Новая Опера имени Е.В. Колобова. Режиссер Алексей Вэйро определяет его жанр как «представление без представления»; это иллюзия камерного домашнего музицирования, пения для самих себя. Музыкальный материал спектакля – спиричуэлс (духовные песни и гимны афроамериканцев) во всем их многообразии. В частности, исполняются обработки известного аранжировщика Мозеса Хогана, африканские песни из репертуа­ра всемирно известного хора Роберта Шоу.

Теперь спектакль проходит (буквально) на сцене Новой Оперы, где размещаются не только артисты, но и зрители, что позволяет абсолютно по-новому ощутить музыку.

Choral performance “Black. Barefoot Steps" grew out of a concert of the Chamber Choir of the Novaya Opera Theater named after E.V. Kolobov. Director Alexei Veiro defines his genre as "performance without performance"; it is an illusion of chamber music-making at home, singing for oneself. The musical material of the performance is spirituals (spiritual songs and hymns of African Americans) in all their diversity. In particular, arrangements by the famous arranger Moses Hogan, African songs from the repertoire of the world-famous choir Robert Shaw are performed.

Now the performance takes place (literally) on the stage of the Novaya Opera, where not only the artists, but also the audience are accommodated, which allows you to experience the music in a completely new way.
