Cole in Paris is thought of as a picture book, a sound and visual fresco that transports us to those Roaring Twenties, which evokes as much the personal journey of the man and the artist as this new breath of life that irrigates Paris in the come out of the Great War.
The troupe imagined a musical highlighting the original and elegant spirit of the artist who dazzled Broadway at the dawn of the 1930s. Through his repertoire in Franglais, which combines exoticism, amused observation and declaration of love, the composer-musician has forged an immortal bond with Paris. Between standards and rediscovered nuggets, this sparkling reinterpretation with false airs of music-hall floats a frivolous perfume of the inter-war period. Led by a swinging orchestra and swinging singers, Cole in Paris , “it's magnificent! ".

Cole in Paris est pensé comme un livre d’images, une fresque sonore et visuelle qui nous transporte dans ces Années folles, qui évoque autant le parcours personnel de l’homme et de l’artiste que ce nouveau souffle de vie qui irrigue Paris au sortir de la Grande Guerre.
La troupe a imaginé une comédie musicale mettant en lumière l’esprit original et élégant de l’artiste qui a ébloui Broadway à l’aube des années trente. À travers son répertoire en franglais qui tient à la fois de l’exotisme, de l’observation amusée et de la déclaration d’amour, le compositeur musicien a tissé un lien immortel avec Paris. Entre standards et pépites redécouvertes, cette étincelante relecture aux faux airs de music-hall fait flotter un parfum frivole de l’entre-deux-guerres. Emmené par un orchestre qui swingue et des chanteurs qui balancent, Cole in Paris, « c’est magnifique ! ».
