Die Gänsemagd
Die Gänsemagd ist eines der tiefgründigsten Märchen der Brüder Grimm: Eine Königstochter verliert drei Blutstropfen und damit den Schutz ihrer Mutter. Daraufhin nimmt ihr das durchtriebene Kammermädchen Pferd und Prinz weg und die Königstochter muss Gänse hüten. Das Pferd, das sprechen kann, lässt das Kammermädchen aus Angst und Verrat töten. Die Königstochter aber folgt dem Rat des Königs und vertraut ihr Schicksal einem alten Ofen an... Vertont hat die spannende Geschichte die Komponistin Iris ter Schiphorst, deren witzig-kecke Musik die kleinen Zuschauer anlässlich der Uraufführung 2010 in Wien zu Begeisterungsstürmen hinriss. Das gut eine Stunde dauernde Stück ist ideal geeignet, um Kindern einen ersten Kontakt mit dem Musiktheater zu vermitteln.

The goosemaid
The Goose Girl is one of the most profound fairy tales by the Brothers Grimm: a king's daughter loses three drops of blood and with it her mother's protection. The cunning chambermaid then takes the horse and prince away from her and the king's daughter has to look after geese. The horse, which can speak, has the maid killed out of fear and betrayal. But the king's daughter follows the king's advice and entrusts her fate to an old stove... The exciting story was set to music by the composer Iris ter Schiphorst, whose witty, bold music caused the young audience to storm of enthusiasm at the premiere in 2010 in Vienna. The piece, which lasts a good hour, is ideally suited to giving children their first contact with music theatre.
