Interview with Hans Ek & Linus Fellbom about the Industrial Baroque opera Eurydike. Premiere at Wermland Opera's Main Stage March 10 - 2022 Cred: Dan Brown

This initiative is an attempt to make room for world history's most sung woman's own story. The performance L'Orfeo from 2014 took Monteverdi's 17th century opera into the present. It immediately became a huge success, acclaimed by both the press and the audience. Now we once again have the honor of presenting parts of the same production team in this exciting and gripping set. Organizer and conductor Hans Ek. Linus Fellbom is responsible for directing, scenography and lighting design.

The music in the newly written work is based on fragments and quotes from previous operas based on the myth, by composers such as Gluck and Offenbach, interwoven with music by, among others , Einsturzende Neubauten , Joy Division and Nico .
