In Koproduktion mit dem Maggio Musicale Fiorentino. Blaubart hat ein Geheimnis. Und Judith will und muss es lüften. Was zieht sie an? Und warum lässt sie sich ein auf die Gefahr, in der sie schwebt? Als er ihr den Schlüssel zu der geheimnisvollen Kammer überreicht und ihr zugleich verbietet, diese zu öffnen, wird deutlich, dass Judith und Blaubart in einer gemeinsamen Phantasie tief miteinander verbunden sind. Eine Geschichte, die wie ein Kriminalfall beginnt und Judith als Ermittlerin in einem Cold-Case-Szenario erscheinen lässt, entwickelt sich nach und nach zu einer Seelenforschung von zwei verletzten Menschen. Nur ein Gewaltakt wird sie voneinander trennen können. Eine namenlose Frau telefoniert in 'La voix humaine' zum letzten Mal mit ihrem Geliebten und klammert sich an seine Stimme wie eine Ertrinkende. Sie ist das fehlende Puzzlestück, um Blaubarts Geschichte verstehen zu können.
