With their program "Die Windrose" , conceived for the Klangvokal music festival, the Hirundo Maris quartet around the singer and harpist Arianna Savall and the singer and mandolin player Petter Udland Johansen not only embarks on a musical tour of discovery in all directions, but immediately
on one Journey through time and style through 500 years of lyrically gripping and deeply touching musical art.
With “Sea Fever” and “Preghira”, two original compositions
by Petter Udland Johansen and Arianna Savall meet early music by Claudio Monteverdi as well as newly arranged traditionals from Scotland and Catalonia.
A moving interplay of very different musical worlds that hits the heart.
