Founded in 2015 by Julien Chauvin, the Concert de La Loge quickly acquired an excellent reputation on old instruments, to the point of becoming the privileged accompanist of baroque stars like Sandrine Piau. Returning to the uses of the 18th century on the model of the Concert of the Olympic Lodge, the phalanx likes to design original concerts where genres and artists mingle. This recital follows the release of the album “Il Teatro” in 2020 which confronts the theatricality of Vivaldi's instrumental music with the virtuosity of his operas. Julien Chauvin has created a unique program for the occasion, alternating movements of concertos and arias from operas. The arias thus sometimes replace a concerto movement where the violin sings in place of the soloist in instrumental pieces of great vocality.Concerti teatrali by Vivaldi, Sandrine Piau, gives voice in extracts from Il Farnace or L'Olimpiade . The soprano expressively and beautifully embodies Vivaldi's passion for the stage and the theater.
