Turbulent comedy by Gioachino Rossini and very topical: a Turkish prince wants to get to know European customs. This is not without cultural complications. For example, in Naples - unlike in his homeland - he cannot simply buy a wife from a husband. But confusion at a campsite is finally subject matter for writer Prosdocimo. He was actually just looking for material for a new book and is now caught up in the interpersonal entanglements himself... Turkey's accession to the EU is not a problem. Ravishingly funny and beyond all folklore staged by Christof Loy: fun with a serious background. Multicultural doesn't have to fail!

Turbulente Komödie von Gioachino Rossini und höchst aktuell: Ein türkischer Fürst will die europäischen Sitten kennen lernen. Das läuft nicht ohne kulturelle Komplikationen ab. Zum Beispiel kann er in Neapel – anders als in der Heimat – einem Ehemann nicht einfach die Frau abkaufen. Aber die Verwirrung auf einem Campingplatz ist endlich ein Stoff für den Schriftsteller Prosdocimo. Der suchte eigentlich nur Material für ein neues Buch und steckt nun selbst in den zwischenmenschlichen Verwicklungen... Über den EU-Beitritt der Türkei darf man ruhig nachdenken. Hinreißend witzig und jenseits aller Folklore inszeniert von Christof Loy: Ein Spaß mit ernstem Hintergrund. Multi-Kulti muss nicht scheitern!
