In the double opera thriller, we here combine one of the opera repertoire's most popular masterpieces, I Pagliacci, with the rediscovered Danish gem La Vendetta, which is the only Danish opera ever commissioned by the legendary opera house La Scala in Milan. An opera company very similar to Den Jyske Opera performs the opera La Vendetta , all the while in rehearsals for their next production: the opera I Pagliacci . When the first opera is over, the audience is "invited" behind the scenes. Here, a high-tension drama unfolds among the opera's employees with catastrophic consequences.

With La Vendetta / I Pagliacci we combine one of the opera repertoire's most popular masterpieces, I Pagliacci (Danish title: Bajadser ), with a rediscovered Danish gem and the only Danish opera ever commissioned by the legendary opera house La Scala in Milan: Asger America's long ago forgot La Vendetta - a nerve-wracking thriller that could just as well have been written as a script for Netflix! La Vendetta is part of the Danish Series.
