For the first organ and voice concert since the series moved to Leeds Cathedral, Darius is joined by the talented soprano Sofia Livotov. Based in Leeds and Strasbourg, Sofia has recently appeared in Opera North’s productions of The Cunning Little Vixen and Mozart’s Requiem. Today’s programme includes Vierne’s beautiful miniature cycle Les Angélus and finishes with GF Handel’s rousing Let the Bright Seraphim.
