The European Union Youth Orchestra is synonymous with musical joie de vivre. This year's evening concert focuses on Beethoven's symphony of mankind, the Ninth, with the well-known "Ode to Joy". Vasily Petrenko, chief conductor of the orchestra and also under contract in the same position with the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra, will conduct the concert. After the concert, the musicians of the EUYO let their joy run wild in the Late Night Session. A whole day full of musical enthusiasm.
