The Athens State Orchestra returns with particular pleasure this summer too at the idyllic place of Zografou Villa, offering to the audience a musical soiree dedicated to the charming Opera. Two rising stars of the Greek scene, soprano Vassia Alati and conductor Katia Molfesi, interpret famous and beloved arias and orchestral excerpts of German and French operas and operettas, while the programme comes to an end with Bedrich Smetana's symphonic masterpiece "Vltava" (The Moldau).

Η Κρατική Ορχήστρα Αθηνών επιστρέφει με ιδιαίτερη χαρά και φέτος το καλοκαίρι στον ειδυλλιακό χώρο της Βίλας Ζωγράφου προσφέροντας στο φιλόμουσο κοινό μία μουσική βραδιά αφιερωμένη στον διαχρονικά σαγηνευτικό χώρο της όπερας. Δύο ανερχόμενες Ελληνίδες ερμηνεύτριες, η υψίφωνος Βάσια Αλάτη και η αρχιμουσικός Κάτια Μολφέση, υπογράφουν μία ανάγνωση όλο φρεσκάδα διάσημων και αγαπημένων αριών και ορχηστρικών αποσπασμάτων από γερμανικές και γαλλικές όπερες και οπερέτες, ενώ το πρόγραμμα ολοκληρώνεται με το επιβλητικό συμφωνικό αριστούργημα «Μολδάβας» του Τσέχου Ρομαντικού συνθέτη Μπέντριχ Σμέτανα.
