The Stignani Competition was established to celebrate the most famous dramatic mezzo-soprano of her day, Ebe Stignani. The two main pillars of her long and successful career have been hard work and the pursuit of vocal excellence. To follow in her footsteps, the City of Imola and the Internationaler Musikverein Ebe Stignani München, eV, are organizing the third edition of the Stignani Competition in 2022.
