In collaboration with the International Opera Center of the Netherlands, Muziektheater Transparant offers young singers the opportunity to present themselves to an audience in an operetta with fragments by Strauss, Léhar and others.

For several years now, the International Opera Center of the Netherlands in Amsterdam has been offering advanced training to top young singers from all over the world. The singers are taught by renowned singing pedagogues and also participate in scenic productions. Muziektheater Transparant has worked with this center before and offered the young singers there opportunities to develop further and to confront an audience. 
In Deine Lippen sie küssen so süβ , four singers and three musicians perform the best-known pieces from French, Viennese and English operettas. Fragments from the work of composers such as Strauss, Léhar, Offenbach, Gilbert & Sullivan are smoothly knitted together during this sparkling evening by means of a new storyline: no irony and cynicism, but a genuine upgrading of the operetta genre! The form in which all this is packaged remains a surprise.

Het Internationaal Operacentrum Nederland in Amsterdam biedt al enkele jaren een voortgezette opleiding aan jonge topzangers uit de hele wereld. De zangers krijgen les van gerenommeerde zangpedagogen en verlenen ook hun medewerking aan scenische producties. Muziektheater Transparant werkte reeds vaker samen met dit centrum en bood de jonge zangers daar kansen om zich verder te ontplooien en te confronteren met een publiek. 

Vier zangers en drie muzikanten brengen in Deine Lippen sie küssen so süβ de bekendste stukken uit de Franse, Weense en Engelse operettes. Fragmenten uit het werk van componisten als Strauss, Léhar, Offenbach, Gilbert & Sullivan worden tijdens deze sprankelende avond vlot aan elkaar gebreid d.m.v. een nieuwe verhaallijn: geen ironie en cynisme, maar een waarachtig opwaarderen van het genre van de operette! De vorm waarin dit alles verpakt wordt, blijft een verrassing.
