Ruslan Lutsyk

Ruslan Lutsyk was born in historical Lviv, one of the main cultural centers of the Ukraine. His devotion to music began at an early age. As a young child, he sang in a choir and took cello and piano lessons. Shortly thereafter, began his life-long love affair with the bass. Ruslan’s formal study of music commenced at the S.Kruchelnytzka Specialized Music Boarding School in Lviv. Attending the Mykola Lysenko Lviv State Academy of Music, he graduated cum laude in 1998. His postgraduate studies were completed with honors at the University of Music and Performing Arts in Munich under the tutelage of the professor Klaus Trumpf.
