Clarissa Costanzo, soprano già in carriera che ha fatto felici debutti a Piacenza e che nella seconda edizione del concorso di canto dedicato a Beppe De Tomasi in quel di Reggio Calabria si aggiudicò il “Premio della critica” e guarda caso in commissione c’ero io. Doppio il piacere, dunque, della rinnovata conferma. Si tratta di un bel temperamento, musicalmente ineccepibile, dalla voce calda ed avvolgente anche in uno spazio aperto e un po’ dispersivo come è quello della Fortezza a Savona. Timbro gradevole, sostenuto da un fraseggio ardente e da un accento partecipe, dopo la celeberrima aria “Un bel dì vedremo” un primo prolungato applauso, ripetutosi poi con rinnovato entusiasmo alla ribalta finale. Intensa nel “racconto” “Che tua madre dovrà” al piccolo Dolore, commovente in “Tu, piccolo Iddio”, la Costanzo è stata una vera rivelazione per chi ancora non l’aveva intesa.
