Victor Benedetti

Victor Benedetti has become known as a performer who fuses his rich, warm baritone with his innate theatrical gifts to bring characters of all sorts to life on stages around the world. His most recent performances have included the title role in Wozzeck at the Astoria Music Festival, Enrico in Lucia di Lammermoor with the Gut Immling Opernfestival, Scarpia in Tosca with Indianapolis Opera, the title role in Der Kaiser von Atlantis with MOR/Seattle Symphony, and Viktor in the North American premiere of Anya 17 with San Francisco’s Opera Parallele. He made his debut with New York City Opera in the title role of Don Giovanni, a performance that awarded him NYCO’s Debut Artist of the Year.
