The soprano Stefanie Knorr first completed her studies in school music and mathematics with a teaching degree in Freiburg. She studied singing at the Hochschule für Musik Basel with Marcel Boone. In 2019, she won several prizes, including a study prize at the Migros-Kulturprozent singing competition in Zurich and a sponsorship prize at the Paula Salomon Lindberg competition »Das Lied« in Berlin. While still a student, she made her debut at Theater Basel in 2016 in a children's opera. Subsequently, she performed there, among others, as Bubikopf (»The Emperor of Atlantis«) and as the Eldest Sea Sister (»Andersen's Tales«).
