Andrés Felipe Orozco

The fresh-voiced lyric tenor was born in Cali, Colombia. He completed his degrees in journalism and music pedagogy at Valle University and simultaneously completed his vocal studies at the conservatory “Antonio María Valencia” in Cali with Margarita Castro-Alberty, with an emphasis on Lied/Song interpretation. He later studied at the Cologne Music Conservatory (Hochschule für Musik Köln), Aachen campus, with Dieter Schweikard and completed his Master’s degree there in classical voice with honors. His wide-reaching repertoire, ranging from opera and operetta to Lied and Oratorio, has gained him entry to concert halls and theaters around the world, including Germany, Austria, England, Poland and, of course, his native Colombia.
