Biography
Soprano Alaysha Fox is an emerging artist based in Los Angeles. Currently Alaysha is a member of LA Opera’s Domingo Colburn Stein young artist program. This season she joins the Lyric Opera of Chicago to cover Elisabeth de Valios in Don Carlos. Last season Ms. Fox made her LA Opera mainstage debut as High Priestess in Verdi’s Aida. Recently, Ms. Fox was an Apprentice artist at the Santa Fe Opera where she sang the role of Bridesmaid in Le nozze di Figaro. Some previous credits include: Angel Blue’s Gala concert, Giorgette (Il Tabarro), Erstes mädchen(Hindemith), First Lady (Die Zauberflӧte), Lady Macbeth (Macbeth, Bloch), Female Chorus (The Rape of Lucretia), Penelope(Penelope), and Aida. Ms. Fox has been honored with several awards including: Winner of the Palm Springs Opera Guild Voca
