Bio: Born in Sassari in 1985, he began his musical studies at the age of 9 at the Conservatory of his hometown; graduated in piano at age 21 with the highest marks and honors, he is admitted to the piano specialization courses of the Accademia di Musica di Pinerolo and, later, to the Scuola di Musica di Fiesole, thus having the opportunity to artistically mature with great internationally renowned pianists such as Enrico Stellini, Pietro de Maria and Andrea Lucchesini.
After embarking on a solo career that saw him involved nationally and internationally, winning success with audiences and critics, he began an intense collaboration with opera singers in Italy and abroad at a very young age (he has been working regularly with the tenor Piero Pretti since 2012), working as a repetiteur in theaters such as: Teatro "V. Emanuele" in Messina, Puccini Festival in Torre del Lago, Azerbaijan Opera Theatre, Arena di Verona Foundation and Teatro "G. Verdi" in Trieste.
He approached the orchestra conducting studio at the age of 22 by participating in various training courses in the national territory while attending the composition course at the Conservatory. In 2012 he entered the two-year specialization course in orchestral conducting at the Conservatory "G. Verdi" in Milan under the guidance of Vittorio Parisi, graduating after a few years with full marks.
In 2014 he made his debut in Sassari conducting the "Davide Penitente" oratory of W. A.Mozart organized by the Conservatory "L.Canepa" and by the Associazione Polifonica Santa Cecilia of Sassari of which he was appointed artistic director from 2015 to 2017; subsequently he conducts in the theater of his hometown operas like "l'Arca di Noè" by B. Britten, "Brundibar" by H. Krasa and a concert of opera arias with the Orchestra "M.de Carolis" and the tenor Roberto Aronica; in October 2015 he conducted Ponchielli's "Promessi Sposi" at the Milan Conservatory.
He has worked with the orchestra of the “De Carolis” concert, the Milan Conservatory orchestra, the Benevento Philharmonic Orchestra, the Puccini Festival Orchestra, the Serbian National Theater Orchestra, the Basel Symphony Orchestra and the Hungarian State Opera Orchestra of Budapest.
From June 2017 he takes on the role of stage music director at the Puccini Festival in Torre del Lago and at the “De Carolis”Opera Theatre in Sassari.
He is assistant to Maestro Bruno Nicoli, Maestro Francesco Ivan Ciampa, Maestro Jordi Bernacer and from 2018 he works with Maestro Gianluca Marcianò, starting a collaboration at the Serbian National Theater in Novi Sad where, from June 2019, he become Guest conductor, conducting many operas like Rigoletto, Barbiere di Siviglia, Faust, Bohème and Butterfly.
He started 2020 with a tournée in China with the Serbian National Theatre Orchestra and in February he has signed a contract for one year as principal orchestra conductor with the Opera and Ballet Theatre in Samsun, Turkey. From 2021 he is become orchestral conductor in the prestigious Ankara Opera Theatre.
