Saarbrücken, GermanyBettina Maria Bauer has been a member of the ensemble at the Saarländisches Staatstheater since the 2019/2020 season. Her engagements at the theater include Barbarina (Le nozze di Figaro), Valencienne (Die lustige Witwe), Amirah (Die arabische Prinzessin), Thibault (Don Carlos) and Ottilie Giesecke (Im weißen Rössl). In the 2021/2022 season she will be heard as Najade in Strauss' "Ariadne auf Naxos", Oberto in "Alcina" by Handel and as Frasquita in Bizet's "Carmen", among others. Guest engagements have already taken Bettina Maria Bauer to the Konzerthaus Berlin and to the Ettlingen Scholssfestspiele, where she performed the role of the Mouse in Ivan Fischer's children's opera, “Der Grüffelo” and made her role debut as the Queen of the Night in Mozart's "Die Zauberflöte", respectively.
