Biography
The Puertorrican mezzosoprano has sang in Theater an der Wien as La maestra delle novizie in Puccini's Suor Angelica, as well as at the Kazan Opera and Ballet in Russia, as Clara in Gerschwin's Porgy and Bess. Award winner at the Metropolitan Opera National Counsil Auditions and finalist at the Belvedere Competition. Other important presentations were with the Neue Oper Wien, Oh!pera-Operntheater and Rheinsberg Kammer Oper. She has fully performed several important roles in the operatic scene, such as Bizet's ''Carmen'', Leonora from Donizetti's ''La favorita, Eboli from Verdi's ''Don Carlo'', Dritte Dame from Mozart's ''Die Zauberflöte'', La Zia principessa in Puccini's ''Suor Angelica'' and La Prieure in Poulenc's ''Dialogue des Carmelites'' among others.
