Bio: The Viennese mezzo-soprano Christiane Marie Riedl studied at University of Music and Performing Arts Vienna and with Prof. Dagmar Livorová. She won several prices in named competitions and received the R. Wagner scholarship. In 2012  she gave her debut as Zerlina in "Don Giovanni" at the Staatstheater Nürnberg - Germany where she sang in the seasons 2012-2014 Contessa di Coigny in „Andrea Chenier“, as 2. Nymphe in „Rusalka“, Mercedes in „Carmen“, Roßweiße in "Walküre", Cherubino in "Le nozze di Figaro", Junon in "Plateé (conductor H. Niquet), Flora in "Traviata", 2. Zigeunerin und Ehrendame in "Les Hugenottes"and the Pastorello in "Tosca". Next to her engagement in Nürnberg she gave her debut at the Volksoper Vienna - Austria with Nancy in "Albert Herring" with the staging of Brigitte Fassbänder. In the season 2014- 2016 she came back to the Volksoper Vienna where she took place again as Mercedes in "Carmen" and Dorothea in "Viva la mamma" in the regie of Rolando Villazon. In the same year Christiane Marie Riedl gave her debut as Orlofsky at the Oper Leipzig - Germany, as 2. Nymphe in Theater Bonn - Germany, Theater Baden - Austria, as Hederl in "Dreimäderlhaus" and Flora at the Theater Ulm - Germany. 2017 she will be seen as alto in the Brucknerhaus Linz in the 9th symphonie of L. v.
