Biography

David Fischer ist seit der Spielzeit 2019/20 Ensemblemitglied der Deutschen Oper am Rhein, wo er 2021 als Tamino in Mozarts Zauberflöte debutierte. Weitere Rollen am Haus sind Peppe in Leoncavallos Pagliacci, Malcolm in Verdis Macbeth, Tybalt in Gounods Roméo et Juliette, Harlekin in Ullmanns Kaiser von Atlantis, Dritter Jude in Strauss' Salome und Junger Seemann in Wagners Tristan und Isolde. Als Tamino debutierte David Fischer 2021 auch am Salzburger Landestheater. Im Januar 2023 wird er den Piquillo in Offenbachs Périchole am Theater an der Wien singen. Vor seinem Engagement in Düsseldorf war David Fischer zwei Jahre lang im Ensemble der Oper Bonn und sang Rollen wie Jaquino (Fidelio, Beethoven), Horace Adams (Peter Grimes, Britten), Remendado (Carmen, Bizet) und Pang (Turandot, Pu
