Diana Rosa Cardenas Alfonso

Diana Rosa Cardenas, Cuban soprano, born in Havana, graduated in opera singing from the Amadeo Roldan conservatory, in Havana, Cuba, under the guidance of maestro Adolfo Casas and with full marks. As soon as she graduated she was selected as a soloist of the company of the National Opera of Cuba, playing leading roles such as: Musetta, La Bohemme; Pamina, The Magic Flute; Cecilia, from the Cuban zarzuela Cecilia Valdez from the maestro Gonzalo Roig, Susana, from the Spanish zarzuela La verbena de la Paloma by Tomas Breton; and many other secondary roles belonging to the operatic and zarzuelistic repertoire.
