Biography
In the last years, Francesco Pio Galasso has been reassuring himself in the big roles of the operatic repertoire such as Calaf, Mario Cavaradossi, or Don Jose. Recently has debuted with great success the title role in Don Carlo with Angela Meade, Ferruccio Furlanetto and Carlos Álvarez in the A Coruña Opera Festival. He has been a special guest of soprano Anna Netrebko at her 50' Anniversary Gala at the Mariinsky Theatre in St. Petersburg conducted by Maestro Valery Gergiev. Among his repertoire, he has sung numerous roles like Manrico, Pollione, Rodolfo, Romeo, Alfredo, Duca di Mantova, Pinkerton, Ismaele, Licinius in La Vestale, Paco in Falla ́s La Vida Breve, etc. He has also participated in a big number of concerts and recitals in very important venues in Europe and As
