Fernando is a young baritone born and raised in Mexico City. Besides his studies in voice, he is an accomplished pianist and has studied composition and music production. Fernando holds a bachelor’s degree in Digital Music Production Engineering from the Instituto Tecnológico y de Estudios Superiores Monterrey in Mexico City and a masters degree in classical voice from the Manhattan School of Music under the tutelage of Mark Oswald. He was a young resident artist at the Opera Institute Boston University and studied at the Institute for Young Dramatic Voices (IYDV) with Dolora Zajick. In Italy, he was a resident artist at the Accademia Verdiana at the Teatro Regio di Parma, studied privately at the Accademia d'Altro Canto, Classic Lyric Arts, with Vito Maria Brunetti and Carlo Colombara.
